Responders Together NH and the Lakes Region Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Peer Teams provide peer support training and evidence-based mental health and wellness programs for first responders, military members, veterans, and their families across the Lakes Region and northern New Hampshire.
Impact Statement:
Peer-led wellness and CISM programs prevent post-traumatic stress injury, substance use disorders, suicide, and other occupational health challenges faced by law enforcement, fire/EMS, dispatchers, corrections officers, and military service members. These programs strengthen families, preserve careers, and - most importantly - save lives.
With your support, we can continue our mission to build a preventative and responsive peer network for active and retired responders and military personnel - at no cost to participants or departments already facing significant budget constraints.
Programs Provided at No Cost:
Our programs are facilitated by trained peers and family members and overseen by a volunteer licensed clinician. Connection with relatable peers and physical fitness are proven, evidence-based strategies that reduce both the mental and physical hazards of these professions. Responders Together NH exists to remove barriers to access and create safe, trusted spaces where responders and their families can connect, network, and grow stronger together.
